Some journeys are born from the desire to see a place.Others are born from the need to find yourself again.

She is a writer.Words had always been her breath — the invisible thread weaving emotions and stories together. But for months, silence had taken the place of sentences. No ideas, no new pages. Only a heavy emptiness.
He, an attentive and loving partner, brought her to Sicily, hoping that the sun, the sea, and the colors of this island could reignite the spark. When they reached out to me for an experience with SicilyWest by Mario, I understood they weren’t looking for just another itinerary: they wanted a moment that could heal, give space, and restore breath.
I immediately thought of the Wild Hot Springs Hot Springs. A place where water runs warm and pure between the rocks, where steam rises in the morning like an embrace, and nature seems to shield you from the rest of the world.
We arrived early, when the light was still soft. The air smelled of earth and sulfur, and the thermal river flowed gently, wrapping us in a warmth that seemed to come from the very heart of Sicily.

She slipped into the water in silence, closing her eyes. He stood beside her, without speaking. It was as if time had stopped, leaving only breath, the rustling of leaves, and the murmur of the water.
After a while, she opened her eyes, stepped out, and sat on a rock. From her bag, she pulled out a small notebook and a pen. And she began to write.
I don’t know if it was the hot springs, the nature, or the silence.I only know that when we left, she had the look of someone who had found a piece of herself again.
This is the Sicily I love to share with SicilyWest by Mario. Not just places, but experiences that touch your heart — that leave something deep and lasting within you.
Because traveling is not just about seeing. It’s about finding what you had lost.
